Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Sam's Club #8221 1527 Manhattan Blvd, Harvey, LA 70058-3405 Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure members have the freshest items available. You will juggle several tasks while helping members with bakery orders, serving ready‑to‑eat food, and maintaining a clean, temperature‑controlled environment. What you'll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate with team members, and be flexible to business needs. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to specifications, plan future productions, adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines, operate and sanitize equipment, and manage inventory. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, use handheld technology for production decisions, and encourage peers to adopt new tools. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area, manage stock and rotation, ensure quality and date‑control standards, guide peers, and assist customers according to policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high‑quality service, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers and colleagues; identify priorities and communicate progress. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
