Senior Project Manager

Kforce has a client in Grand Rapids, MI that is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing Startup & Expansion Projects. Summary: This role will support startup, expansion, and capital projects within a manufacturing environment. This individual will work closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams to coordinate equipment installations, manage contractors, and drive projects that support operational growth and scalability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead equipment installation and expansion projects from planning through execution
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal project resources
- Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders
- Drive accountability and ensure timely execution of project plans
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects
- Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Experience managing large scale capital equipment installation projects in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience supporting startup, plant expansion, or operational growth initiatives
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Results-driven with a focus on execution and meeting deadlines
