About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse Texas license Certifications: BLS Provider certification Neonatal Resuscitation certification Advanced Life Support certification Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility with 26 Labor Delivery Recovery suites and 6 C-section suites. It includes 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms and 15 monitored Ante-partum rooms. The facility is an academic teaching service with a large volume of deliveries. The service performs over 500 deliveries per month. 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage are available. The facility has a Perinatal Transport Program. It includes a Women's Emergency Department that serves patients from 16 weeks to 6 weeks postpartum. The department has a total of 14 beds. Candidates should be prepared for a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service.
