High School, Marlborough, Massachusetts Starting Date: Aug 25, 2026 Position Type: Full-time Job ID: 5802810 Job Description Reports to: Director of Technical Programs Mandated Credentials: Must hold an MA DESE Division of Occupational Education Licensure Performance Accountability Instructional Planning: Advance student learning through clearly stated objectives, varied instructional strategies, sequential lessons, and measurable outcomes; ensure accommodations for students with IEPs and 504 plans; integrate technology regularly; plan for sequential skill development and tracking. Instructional Practice: Communicate high standards; design lessons with measurable goals aligned with state standards; employ a balanced approach to skills and concepts; use questioning strategies to stimulate thinking; provide frequent feedback; revise instruction based on assessments; use class/shop and school‑wide data to enhance instruction. Assessment: Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance; employ a variety of assessment strategies; ensure standards‑based assessments; develop and utilize rubrics for projects. Classroom Management: Communicate clear behavioral expectations; maintain routines without significant instructional loss; adhere to the Classroom Management Plan; support disciplinary policies; attend to safety; take appropriate disciplinary action; maintain and ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment. Professional Responsibilities: Abide by district policies and regulations; demonstrate strong employability skills; identify professional development needs; participate in curriculum design and evaluation; attend grade‑level, department, and school‑wide meetings; engage in co‑curricular events; communicate with parents as needed; support Program Advisory Committees; maintain up‑to‑date licensure and certifications. Compensation As per the Agreement between the School Committee and the Federation Job Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Must possess a current Massachusetts license as a registered nurse (RN); or be certified/able to obtain certification by DESE in the field of Health Assisting. Minimum three years of recent full‑time employment; preferred three years of relevant experience. One year of long‑term care experience in a level 1 or 2 facility is preferred.
