Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Shift: Day Shift

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Adult Critical Care/ICU units. Candidates will be assigned based on their clinical background and experience. This role requires strong critical care skills, independent clinical judgment, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients

• Perform detailed patient assessments and ongoing monitoring

• Administer medications, treatments, and critical care interventions

• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs

• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols

• Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision

• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License

• Current BLS Certification

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years

• Adult ICU/CCU experience required

• Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Experience in hospitals of similar or larger size preferred

• Must successfully complete health screening, background check, and drug screening requirements

Additional Information:

• Every other weekend required

• Holiday coverage required

• Set schedules and extended time-off requests may be limited
