About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a strategic financial executive, providing the financial vision, operational insight, and leadership necessary to support the company's growth. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, and managing various financial aspects such as WIP reporting, job costing, and financial performance analysis. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing financial strategies, strengthening internal controls, and leading the accounting and finance team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience within the commercial construction industry, with a background that includes roles such as CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or equivalent. Comprehensive knowledge of construction accounting, WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, and experience with construction ERP systems is essential. The role requires a professional with a strong ability to partner with executive leadership, excellent communication, and team development skills. A CPA designation is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing banking relationships, bonding programs, insurance, external audits, and financial compliance, and will be committed to the company's values of quality, integrity, and long-term client relationships.
