Use specialized scanners and tracers to provide functional insights into cells, tissues, and organ systems, enhancing diagnostic accuracy. The Nuclear Medicine Physician aids in early disease detection and treatment, identifying abnormalities before they become clinically significant, which improves patient prognosis. Nuclear Medicine Physician - REQUIREMENTS Must have a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Must be Board Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine, Must have current DEA, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
