Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position on the medical surgical floor located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role involves providing patient care in a unit that primarily handles medical, surgical, and orthopedic cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
• Shift: 12-hour days, with shift times of 06:30 AM 06:00 PM and 06:30 PM 07:00 AM. The minimum weekly hours are 36 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS Certification, 1 year of nursing experience, drivers license required at submittal, and ability to work the specified shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes include specific policies such as radius rule of 50 miles and restrictions on employment status with associated facilities.
  • RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be requested upfront for seven days or fewer within the 13-week contract, as additional RTO will not be approved after submission.
  • Candidates must submit a drivers license to verify outside radius restrictions.
  • The assignment involves working with EPIC electronic charting system and may include duties like handling nurses aids/patient care techs.
  • The first week includes classroom and on-the-floor orientation, followed by 2 shifts of on-the-floor training.
