Responsibilities

• Teach Physics or Engineering to students in grades 10 and Chemistry to students in grade 11, afternoons M-Th

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth

• Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-wide initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (or equivalent)

• 2+ years of experience teaching science to secondary students

• Strong understanding of science curriculum and educational standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning styles

• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
