Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber (not a salesman) to join our team. We have a steady, robust volume of existing work, and our focus is to help our neighbors in Pinellas County solve their plumbing problems as quickly and cost effectively as possible, while our plumbers generate an income that allows them to provide for and support their own families.
Although our plumbers have a range of skills and abilities, all of our plumbers work directly with our plumbing contractor, getting support and additional training to help understand and comply with the the complexity of Florida Building Code. If you want to grow in your skill set and ability to increase your income with the knowledge base, this is the right place to be.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve common plumbing issues, including:
- Leaks
- Stoppages
- Fixture Replacements
- Water Heater Repair and Installation
- Water Service and Distribution
- Rodding and Jetting
- Building Drain and Sewer Repairs and Replacement
- Troubleshoot challenges and issues with the plumbing contractor - focusing on providing our customers with value-added service.
- Working with the existing team to share a rotating on-call schedule
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Own and know how to safely operate basic hand tools
- Ability and willingness to read instructions and/or ask for support from the contractor when facing a new challenge
- Ability to perform varied physical tasks on a construction jobsite or in a customer's home
Deal Breakers:
- You do not live locally (Pinellas County)
- You have a driving history that does not allow you to be added to our corporate auto insurance policy
- You are a convicted sex offender or violent criminal
