Fitch Irick currently manages 12,000+ units in 250 properties throughout the southeastern United States with multiple layers of programs and funding sources designed to better communities by providing quality affordable housing to residents in need.Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Property Management Intern – Lease-Up to join our Summer Internship Program for an immersive 8-week experience within multifamily property operations and leasing.This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the fast-paced environment of a new development lease-up, where interns will gain experience supporting leasing activity, resident engagement, marketing initiatives, and daily property operations. Interns will work alongside experienced property management professionals while learning how successful communities are launched, stabilized, and managed.This is more than an internship—it’s an opportunity to gain real-world experience in property management and contribute to the successful growth and occupancy of a community.WHAT YOU’LL LEARN & SUPPORTSupport leasing and marketing efforts for vacant and upcoming apartment homesProfessionally greet prospective residents, guests, and vendorsAssist with answering incoming calls and responding to leasing inquiriesLearn leasing processes including tours, applications, and resident follow-upSupport resident engagement activities and community eventsAssist with administrative functions including resident records and office organizationHelp maintain accurate leasing and traffic reportsGain exposure to lease-up strategy, occupancy goals, and resident retention initiativesCollaborate with onsite teams to support operational and leasing objectivesLearn Fair Housing practices and property management compliance standardsPartner with maintenance and onsite teams to support community standardsWHAT YOU BRING| THE PERSONStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude with a willingness to learnInterest in property management, real estate, business, marketing, or hospitalityCustomer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferredOrganized with strong attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer proficiency including Microsoft OfficeProgram QualificationsCurrently enrolled in college, university, trade school, or recent graduate preferredAbility to commit to the full 10-week summer programReliable transportation may be required based on assigned location #J-18808-Ljbffr Fitch Irick Management Llc
