Job Opportunity: Tray Sorter

Were looking for a reliable and motivated Tray Sorter to be an important part of our production team. In this role, youll help ensure smooth machine operations, maintain product quality, and support your teammates. Shift: Day shift

• Great pay. Entry-level, Union Position - pay is $20.30 per hour (plus $.75/hour when working night shift). Per Union Contract, pay will increase to $24.66 per hour after just 1 year of employment!

Job Duties

• Stack, sort, and palletize product

• Perform safety checks and inspections at the start of each shift

• Follow all safety procedures

• Monitor and maintain product quality throughout production

• Package products correctly, applying labels with necessary information

• Conduct quality tests every two hours

• Separate defective products for recycling or culling

• Operate and clear jams on stacking equipment safely

• Support teammates when help is needed

• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately

• Maintain and clean packaging equipment as needed

• Prepare labels for products

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Willing to work a 2 on 2 off 3 on schedule

• Comfortable with a rotating monthly schedule (switching between day and night shifts)

• Available for overtime when needed

• Willing to join union

• Submit to drug screen and background check

• Self-motivated and a team player

• Able to efficiently work with machinery

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
