Desired Qualifications:

• Current Texas Teaching Certification is required
• TX Reading By Design Certification must be held and active
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia in educational settings
• For bilingual applicants: Training in Esperanza and Reading By Design is essential
• Proven ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized reading interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt instruction for varying elementary grade levels

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct dyslexia screenings, progress monitoring, and reading interventions for assigned students
• Create and deliver tailored instructional plans leveraging research-based programs
• Maintain detailed documentation of student performance and prepare reports for key stakeholders
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on reading development and intervention strategies
• Adjust instructional techniques and materials to meet each student’s needs, using a data-driven approach
