The mobile unit is equipped with state-of-the-art nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology, allowing you to deliver high-quality cardiac and advanced imaging services in a convenient and accessible format for patients.Your typical day will involve preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols, performing cardiac nuclear imaging studies such as stress and rest myocardial perfusion exams, gated SPECT imaging, and related cardiac assessments. You will also conduct PET/CT examinations, including oncologic and cardiac indications, ensuring accurate positioning, clear communication with patients, and careful monitoring of image quality. You will work closely with referring providers to ensure appropriate exam scheduling, protocol selection, and timely transmission of images and reports through EMR and PACS systems. Patient interaction is central to this role. You will explain procedures clearly, address patient concerns, and create a calm, professional environment within the mobile unit. You will adhere to strict radiation safety standards, maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness, and follow all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
