4×10‑hour shifts per week Daytime hours, no nights Position Overview The OR Nurse Educator will support perioperative staff through education, competency development, onboarding, and continuous clinical training. This role plays a key part in maintaining high‑quality standards in the operating room and ensuring safe, evidence‑based practice across the surgical department. Responsibilities Provide education, training, and coaching to OR nursing staff Develop and implement clinical competencies, skills validation, and annual training Support onboarding for new OR staff and travelers Collaborate with surgeons, leadership, and perioperative teams to improve workflow and patient outcomes Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and perioperative best practices Requirements Active NYS RN license Strong OR experience (scrub and/or circulating) Experience in OR education, precepting, or training strongly preferred BLS required; ACLS preferred Contact If you're interested or want more details, feel free to DM or send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io .
