Janitorial Team Member OpportunityThe Arc Oneida-Lewis, a pioneer in championing individuals with disabilities, is looking for a dedicated Janitorial Team Member to join our Business Enterprises division!Our Business Enterprises team is seeking a Janitorial Team Member in Rome, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks, ensuring that work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. Cleaning duties are assigned by the Lead Janitorial Team Member. This position is customer-focused, as all responsibilities are carried out in contracted customer buildings.Schedule/Hours:Part-time opportunity availableSchedules may include workdays, mornings, evenings and weekendsQualifications:Ability to pass all security clearance screenings required for building accessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible schedule availability (weekdays, mornings, evenings and weekends)Effective communication skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs. and move materials as neededAbility to operate janitorial equipment and toolsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred (relevant experience accepted in lieu of education)Responsibilities:Perform cleaning tasks as assigned, ensuring work meets contract standards and scope of workFollow security procedures when entering and leaving buildingsAssist with supply inventory and communicate supply needs to Lead Team MemberFollow safety procedures and best practices at all timesProvide excellent customer service to clients and colleaguesSupport the janitorial team by filling in as needed when staff are outMaintain accurate operation documents (daily, weekly, monthly)Perform exterior upkeep as assigned (snow removal, ice melt, grounds cleaning)Adhere to The Arc's Core Values and Mission.Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance policiesComplete all required training and follow Agency safety policiesAdhere to scheduled hours and submit timely, accurate timesheetsPay & Perks:The pay range for this position is $17.75 per hour.If you're ready to join a team that values hard work, safety, and community impact, apply today!Founded in 1954, The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is a premier human services agency in the healthcare field.
