Clinical Coordinator We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our plastic surgery practice and serve as an important part of the patient experience and clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits Utilize EMR and scheduling software to maintain accurate patient records and schedules Communicate with patients by phone, email, and in person regarding appointments, procedures, and clinical needs Assist with coordinating surgical and clinical appointments and ensuring patients are properly prepared Review and update patient information, medical histories, and required documentation Work closely with surgeons, providers, nurses, and other members of the clinical team Assist with patient flow and ensure a smooth, organized experience throughout the patient's visit Enter and maintain accurate information within the EMR and other computer systems Manage multiple schedules and adjust appointments as needed while maintaining efficiency Provide a high level of personalized, compassionate patient service Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and office policies Assist with other administrative and clinical coordination responsibilities as needed Qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office, plastic surgery, dermatology, or other healthcare setting preferred Strong computer skills and experience working with EMR/EHR systems Experience with medical scheduling software preferred Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Professional, personable, and compassionate communication style Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed when schedules or patient needs change Healthcare or medical terminology experience preferred Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is someone who isorganized, dependable, technology-savvy, and patient-focused . They should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their day working on a computer, navigating an EMR, managing schedules, communicating with patients, and coordinating with providers.
