Salary: $166,400 - 197,600 per year Requirements:
- Four years of PowerBuilder or InfoMaker experience
- Five years of ASP.NET development experience using MVC, Web Forms, or Blazor
- Five years of experience with Visual Studio
- Five years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- One year of experience with Web API work in C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ
- Five years of experience with Oracle or SQL Server
- Five years of experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and SharePoint
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Nice to have: three years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- Nice to have: three years of experience with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server
- Nice to have: three years of client-server application maintenance in C# or VB.NET with Entity Framework and Oracle
- Must already live within commuting distance of Richmond, Virginia
- Must be able to remain in the United States for the full assignment
- Serve as backup support developer for a banking application
- Work primarily in a PowerBuilder application while supporting other .NET applications
- Translate written requirements into database and software solutions
- Perform system administration and ongoing maintenance on production systems
- Respond to system alerts and user-triggered events
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement programs

We are IEC Tech Inc., a Virginia small business staffing a PowerBuilder and .NET developer role with a Commonwealth of Virginia agency in downtown Richmond on the state technology contract. The assignment is for 12 months, with onsite work in Richmond three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and remote work on the other two days. We offer either W2 or corp-to-corp engagement through your own company, and on W2 we can discuss benefits such as paid state holidays, medical, dental, vision, and a retirement match. The interview is conducted by web camera, and we are moving quickly with same-day follow-up for applicants.
