CNC Machinist
Join our dynamic team in Windsor, CT, where innovation meets precision. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. If you have a passion for machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of milling operations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
