Resistance Welder (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing) Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00, Depends on Experience Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday / Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed About Us Precision Aerospace, LLC a Tier 1 aerospace manufacturer that has been in business 40+ years in Phoenix Arizona is looking for a Resistance Welder to join our team. Perform welding in accordance with approved weld schedules and engineering requirements. Inspect materials and completed welds for compliance with specifications. Test weld samples for strength, penetration, and nugget size requirements. Verify materials and maintain welding process controls. Perform routine equipment maintenance and machine qualifications. Maintain production and quality records. Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR requirements. Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings. Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace manufacturing experience. Experience working within AS9100 or NADCAP-controlled environments. Knowledge of AWS welding standards and aerospace customer specifications. Experience with welding stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace alloys. Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include, but are not limited to: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, writing, and typing. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Occasional reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and repetitive motion. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
