Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role located in Columbia, TN. The CNA will provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Daily responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, helping patients with mobility and transfers, and observing and reporting changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment, supporting infection prevention protocols, and ensuring patients are comfortable and treated with respect. The CNA will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals, follow care plans, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Qualifications Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Tennessee and compliance with all state and facility requirements. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care, including assistance with daily living activities and basic clinical tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Capability to follow written and verbal instructions, document care accurately, and adhere to safety and infection control standards. Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, turning, and transferring patients, and to remain on feet for extended periods. Experience in hospital, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings is beneficial; prior work with older adults or medically complex patients is a plus.
