Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract to hire position in Worthington, OH. This role involves ensuring the safe supply of medications and advising patients on their use. Applicants should be ready to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist:

Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law and appropriate for patients
Maintain confidential records of all patients and manage pharmacy files
Advise patients on medicines, including precautions and potential reactions
Provide consultation on medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
Offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management
Educate patients on handling medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
Identify and communicate drug-related problems with healthcare practitioners

Requirements of the Pharmacist:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Licensed by the state pharmacy board
