Position Summary – Responsible for supporting and coordinating activities of designated project to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within proscribed time and within budget. Also responsible for upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project. Duties and Responsibilities Safety & Quality Collaborate with project managers and field superintendents to ensure consistent safety assurance and control measures are in place. Coordinate and distribute quality management documentation. Model and drive a safety mindset on all jobsites. Project Profit Management Assist PM with tracking project budget and cost performance including various data entry and reporting. Assist project manager with the documentation and reporting of potential change events and approved change orders. Coordinate price change orders (PCO) and requests for proposals (RFP), and requests for quote (RFQ) from subcontractors with estimating. Provide PCO, RFP, and RFQ current status reports as necessary to project managers, estimating, superintendents, and subcontractors. Project Coordination Advocate for LSF at all OAC meetings. Coordinate internal LSF team action item status for project meetings. Be prepared with agenda, status of previous actions items, meeting minutes, deliverables, etc. at all project meetings. Project Schedules Distribute regular updates on project progress via schedule distribution and communication among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal team members. Assist the Project Managers in the development of project plans and schedules, including setting timelines, milestones, and deadlines for various project phases. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Project Documentation Understand project specific scopes of work, specifications, and other project documentation (Submittals, RFI's, ASI's, Drawings, Schedules, etc.) to effectively organize, monitor, and manage overall project document control. Process and monitor project documentation through review and approval workflows. Collate and post replies, comments, directions, and status as necessary. Maintain all electronic and hard copy project documentation and logs so that the most current revisions are readily available to all project stakeholders. Maintain archive of obsolete versions for project closeout and historical reference. Project Closeout Ensure project documentation is managed throughout the project’s duration in a manner that facilitates rapid closeout and warranty processes. Maintain accuracy of closeout status reports and distribute as appropriate. Coordinate completion of closeout and warranty submission items. Team Development Cultivates a positive team environment within the project and alignment toward desired outcomes. Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of relevant construction experience required. Preferred 2-year degree in construction management, engineering, business related field and/or certification in project management. Superior problem-solving skills together with the ability to make recommendations confidently and decisively for action, gain approval as required, and take action as necessary. High energy level, high standards of excellence, high integrity and work ethic. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiar with P6, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and BIM modeling. Able to read and interpret construction blueprints.
