Facility:
This state-of-the-art Cancer Center has held Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984 and serves approximately 1,200 new cancer cases per year. The facility features a 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with an on-site pharmacist, on-site laboratory services, a dedicated Radiation Oncology department, and access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP. The center operates on Epic EMR and is supported by robust Oncology supportive services and a collegial medical staff.

Opportunity:
Physician – Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• Fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist opportunity at a growing Cancer Center
• Board Eligible or Board Certified candidates considered; Board Certification is highly preferred
• Full-time, permanent position requiring residency within the immediate local area
• Outpatient and clinic-based practice with very limited hospital rounding
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours per week)
• On-call coverage for practice and inpatient Oncology patients; no weekend call
• Average of 15-25 patients per day
• Practice is in a rebuilding phase; first physician will be onsite independently until a second provider is hired
• Desired start date: ASAP
• Active South Carolina medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
• Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology required
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
• Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates
• Not open to locum, commuter, 1099, or secondary employment candidates
• Facility Trauma Level: Level 2
