What You'll Treat

You'll provide speech therapy services for patients with a variety of conditions, including:

• Stroke and neurological disorders
• Cognitive-communication impairments
• Speech and language disorders
• Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
• Voice disorders
• Post-surgical rehabilitation
• General medical conditions

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing while supporting safe, independent living at home.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
• Document care using EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on functional outcomes

QualificationsRequired

• Graduate of a CAA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Experience with EMR documentation

Preferred

• One year of home health experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience
• Ability to work independently while managing a mobile caseload
