Material Handler
$22 - $24 per hourManpower
Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Wilmington, MA
Pay Range: $22-$24 an hour
Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM / Monday to Friday & Tuesday to Saturday
***This is a 6-month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise and materials
- Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices and maintain accurate records
- Package and prepare products for shipment, posting weights and shipping charges
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Inspect goods for damage, report discrepancies, and organize inventory in designated storage areas
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics
- Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklift
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 35 lbs)
- Basic computer skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
