Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Comfortable with travel between multiple school sites
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct psychological assessments to support student development and learning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
• Provide individual and small-group counseling sessions
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and support the creation of appropriate educational plans
• Consult with staff on behavior management and learning challenges
• Advocate for the mental health and academic success of all students
• Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to district and state guidelines
