Contract | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (Days and Nights) | 3x12 Hours | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am | Friday–Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and trach/vent requirements
• Operate and monitor various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Deliver specialized care to critically ill neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of combined Level III/IV NICU experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
• Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the submitted specialty
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required (AHA only)
• Must pass a telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) with a minimum score of 80%; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative neonatal patients in a high-acuity NICU environment
• Familiarity with a wide range of invasive and noninvasive ventilation modes
• Experience in a Magnet-designated or Level I Pediatric Trauma Center facility
