CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager for a manufacturing facility in Darlington, SC. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability of plant facilities and production equipment, overseeing capital projects, managing environmental compliance initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance operations to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facilities operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to achieve equipment uptime goals.
• Oversee capital projects and new equipment installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain environmental, health, and safety compliance across all plant operations and property.
• Manage spare parts inventory, equipment lifecycle planning, and team training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Facilities Manager, Maintenance Superintendent, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and cooling water systems.
• Experience with environmental compliance programs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with PLC programming, data collection systems, and manufacturing automation is strongly preferred; steelmaking, induction melting, and refining experience is a plus.

Performance Expectations

• Achieve environmental, health, and safety compliance.
• Support equipment uptime goals and production efficiency objectives.
• Extend equipment life through effective maintenance strategies.
• Ensure successful execution of capital projects and regulatory reporting requirements.

Salary range: $130K-$150K to commensurate with experience.
