Description

A PLC Technician installs, programs, troubleshoots, and maintains programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that automate industrial processes. They ensure machines and systems run efficiently, safely, and reliably. ️ Key Responsibilities Installation & Setup: Install PLC hardware and software to control machinery such as assembly lines, traffic lights, or automated car washes. Programming & Debugging: Write, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs to meet operational needs. Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair PLC systems and related electrical/mechanical equipment. System Monitoring: Monitor PLC-controlled processes, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations. Integration: Work with sensors, actuators, valves, and communication networks to integrate PLCs into larger plant systems. Documentation: Maintain records of system changes, repairs, and compliance with state regulations. Collaboration: Communicate with maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate repairs and upgrades.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, MS.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
