Electronic EngineerLocation: New Haven, CT Job Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay Range: $60–$120 per hour Work Environment: OnsitePosition OverviewM Force Partners is seeking an Electronic Engineer to support the design and development of advanced electronic hardware for high-reliability applications. This position will focus on circuit simulation and analysis, schematic development, PCB design, prototype builds, bench testing, and hardware debugging.The ideal Electronic Engineer has an Electrical Engineering background with hands-on circuit simulation experience using tools such as LTspice, PowerSim, or MathWorks. Experience with Altium Designer, high-speed digital electronics, or power electronics is highly valuable for this position.This Electronic Engineer will support projects from initial circuit simulation through PCB design, prototype development, testing, and debugging while working within a fast-paced engineering environment with demanding technical requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electronic circuit simulation and analysis to support hardware design and developmentUtilize simulation tools such as LTspice, PowerSim, MathWorks, or similar platformsDevelop and evaluate electronic circuit designs before hardware implementationCreate electrical schematics for electronic hardware and PCB assembliesSupport PCB layout and design activities using Altium Designer or similar PCB design softwareTranslate circuit simulation results into practical electronic hardware designsSupport electronic designs from simulation through PCB development and prototype buildsParticipate in prototype assembly, bring-up, bench testing, troubleshooting, and debuggingAnalyze hardware performance and identify design improvements based on simulation and test resultsDevelop and maintain PCB and electronic manufacturing documentationCollaborate with electrical engineers, PCB designers, manufacturing personnel, and other technical team membersSupport high-reliability electronic hardware development for complex technical applicationsComplete engineering activities according to established technical requirements and project schedulesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related electrical engineering disciplineProfessional experience with electronic circuit simulation and analysisExperience using electronic circuit simulation softwareExperience with electronic hardware design and developmentAbility to develop and interpret electrical schematicsExperience supporting PCB design and developmentUnderstanding of the electronic hardware development process from simulation through prototype build and testingHands-on experience with prototype hardware testing, troubleshooting, or debuggingAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environmentStrong analytical and technical problem-solving skillsAbility to work onsite in New Haven, CTPreferred QualificationsExperience with LTspiceExperience with Altium DesignerExperience with PowerSimExperience with MATLAB, Simulink, or other MathWorks toolsExperience with high-speed digital electronics and circuit designExperience with power electronics or power systems designExperience developing high-reliability electronic hardwareExperience supporting electronic hardware from simulation through PCB design, prototype development, and debuggingExperience with electronic hardware for military, quantum, medical, biotech, cleantech, industrial, or scientific applications
