Travel CT Scan Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8 hour Nights, 11 PM - 7 AM, Monday to Friday, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Travel CT Scan Technologist will possess a working knowledge of CT examinations, including CTA work and STROKE protocols, as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents. The technologist will inject patients with contrast during CT studies while practicing sterile techniques. They will also review images for technical accuracy before sending them to PACS for interpretation, maintain safety and confidentiality, and utilize electronic medical records (EMR) via Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast agents during CT examinations.
• Conduct CT scans according to established protocols.
• Review images for accuracy before transmission to interpretation.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Utilize EMR efficiently for documentation and record-keeping.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• History of computer usage required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal clinical supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
