Full Time Cook
Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a Full Time Cook to join our staff.
Purpose Statement
We love our dietary team! They are instrumental in improving our patients health and well-being! As a cook at Wilmington Treatment Center, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our patients, ensuring policies are followed, and ensuring sanitation standards are followed. We want to make each meal a dining experience for our patients and this position is a large part of that.
Functions and Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food according to approved menus.
- Direct activities of those who assist in preparing and serving meals.
- Take inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- One-year experience as a cook.
- Knowledge of standard practice, procedures and equipment required in the food industry.
- Crisis Prevention and CPR certifications (offered on site)
- Ability to work with male and female adult (18+) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders

What began as a 22 bed hospital on one campus in 1984 has grown into a 260 bed hospital spanning 3 campuses - and we are still growing! We are a team of professionals dedicated to helping our patients begin their recovery from the disease of addiction. Even though we are growing, we still maintain that feeling of a close-knit community.
