Dimensional Quality Technician

Step into the role in Cleveland, OHPicture your day: you arrive, scan the production plan, and head straight to incoming shipments to verify materials meet spec. As lines ramp up, you move to the floor to check in-process parts, compare results against tolerances, and record everything cleanly. When a discrepancy appears, you’re the calm center—flagging the issue, partnering with production, and helping put a corrective action in motion. You’ll wrap the day by contributing to audits, fine-tuning procedures, and sharing quality know‑how with teammates so the next shift starts strong.What you’ll handleExamine raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods to confirm they meet defined criteria.Apply measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.Capture findings accurately and maintain traceable quality records and metrics.Detect and report nonconformances; collaborate with production to drive corrective measures.Help evolve quality procedures, standards, and checklists for greater reliability.Support periodic audits and contribute ideas to continuous improvement efforts.Coach production staff on quality practices and expectations to elevate outcomes.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional QA-related education is a plus.Hands-on background in inspection or similar quality roles, ideally in manufacturing.Working knowledge of quality tools, methods, and control techniques.Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong analytical thinking.Ability to interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documentation.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Comfort with measurement instruments and inspection software.Self-starter who also collaborates well in a fast-paced team setting.Ready to help us raise the bar on every product we ship?
