MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital, a proud member of MedStar Health, is a 182-bed full-service acute care facility located 30 minutes South of D.C.
We currently have a PRN APP opportunity to work in our critical care unit located in Clinton, MD.
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a community hospital but have access to the resources provided by a large healthcare system. MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital has a high volume of cardiacpatients including Intra-Aortic Balloon pumpmanagement, PulmonaryArterial catheter placement and managementalong withAdvancedHeart Failure services. In theinpatient setting, you will provide primary coverage for patients in an18-bed mixed IMC/ICU setting. The provider will work within the hospital setting, admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge, while following all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records, contributing to the achievement of department goals, and adhering to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
