PIZZA PREP COOK FOR GOURMET ITALIAN CUISINE

Job Position: Pizza Prep Cook
Location: Gourmet Italian Cuisine Restaurant
Status: Full Time

Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of culinary techniques, particularly in pizza preparation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Duties :

• Prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on custom orders
• Prepare Dough for pizza, focaccia bread, garlic knots and others
• Bake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust and cheese-stuffed
• Make fresh tomato, pesto and white cream sauces
• Wash and chop vegetables (for example, tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms)
• Cut, slice and grill meat like chicken, ham and beef
• Monitor food stock as needed
• Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment
• Any other tasks assigned to management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pizza cook in the food service or culinary industry is preferred.
• Previous experience prepping doughs and breads
• Knowledge of fine dining standards and techniques is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.

Pay is based upon experiences
