Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist - Raw Materials

Overview Supply Chain / Materials Management - Pharma Manufacturing 12 month contract We're looking for a hands-on Supply Chain or Materials professional to support raw material logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are available, traceable, and properly managed to support uninterrupted production. Responsibilities Manage and support raw material logistics across manufacturing and warehouse operations Oversee inventory control, tracking, and material flow to meet production demands Support cold chain operations , including large-scale freezer and ultra-low temperature (ULT) storage Work with automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and automated material handling systems Utilize automated racking and high-rack storage systems (AHRS) to improve efficiency and traceability Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams Ensure logistics and inventory activities comply with GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements Support deviations, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with system upgrades, expansions, and automation optimization projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering , or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech supply chain operations Hands-on experience managing raw material inventory in a regulated manufacturing environment Experience supporting cold chain or ULT freezer operations Exposure to AGVs, automated material handling, and warehouse automation systems Working knowledge of AHRS or automated storage systems Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or electronic inventory systems Strong understanding of GMP/GDP requirements related to material handling Impellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
