Sr. Upstream Processing Technician

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Upstream Processing Technician in St. Louis to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role involves executing cell culture processes, managing large-scale bioreactors, and maintaining compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing batch records and work instructions following cGMP standards
• Conduct aseptic mammalian cell culture operations and large-scale bioreactor production
• Maintain detailed documentation and participate in daily record reviews and shift exchanges
• Support quality investigations and process improvements through critical evaluation
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and promote safe work practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing, production, or lab experience
• cGMP environment experience preferred
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and upstream processing preferred
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and math skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 25 lbs minimum and stand 80% of shift
