Possession of law enforcement certification from Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) in any State; OR Currently enrolled and attending an ACCS Pathway to APOST Certification Course (applicant must provide enrollment or acceptance letter from the Academy or ACCS);2. Applicants possessing a State of Alabama POST Certification must be three (3) years or more past graduation date listed on APOST certificate;3. Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain/maintain a City of Hoover Driver's Permit;4.
