Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Healthcare) POSITION OVERVIEW Are you a compassionate and reliable individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Were seeking dedicated Live-In Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation Administer medications as directed Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, and social outings Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward personal goals Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in everyday life QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor Willingness to work flexible hours and reside on-site during scheduled shifts Prior experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus High school diploma or GED required Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle Must pass background checks and drug screening Familiarity with 6400 regulations is advantageous Successful completion of motor vehicle records and background check.
