Entry-Level Auto Body Technician
Are you looking to jumpstart your career in automotive repair? Join our team as an Entry-Level Auto Body Technician! In this role, you will get valuable on-the-job training while working on real repairs every day. You will learn how to take vehicles apart, prepare them for a perfect paint job, and put them back together safely. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for cars, we want to help you grow your skills!
What You Will Do (Duties & Responsibilities):
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts and mechanical components.
- Sand and prepare body surfaces so they are ready for paint.
- Buff and polish painted parts and finished vehicles for a smooth shine.
- Remove and replace damaged parts using hand and power tools.
- Perform cosmetic repairs to make vehicles look like new again.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications):
- Education: High school diploma or GED certificate. (An associate degree or certificate in automotive technology is a plus!)
- Tools: A basic set of your own hand tools.
- Stamina: Physical strength and energy to work in a busy shop environment.
- Bonus Skills: Any experience with welding, auto repair, painting, or collision work is highly valued.
- Certifications: An ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Pay depends on experience
