About the Role
The Company is seeking a Global Vice President of People to join their Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and collaborative HR executive with a global perspective, responsible for aligning strategic people initiatives with business objectives and ensuring a positive experience for the company's 500+ team members worldwide. This role requires a leader with a broad set of operational and strategic HR experiences, a strong understanding of best practices and employment/labor law frameworks, and a passion for leading a highly effective team that supports the business's growth and innovation. The VP of People will also be a key partner in maintaining the organization's vision and business strategy, leading workforce and succession planning, and driving cultural change. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, with at least 10 years' progressive HR leadership and strategic business planning experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with labor relations and negotiations, is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing HR teams, be adept at leading HR functions in non-US locations, and have experience in mergers and acquisitions. They must be champions of inclusive workplaces, with a focus on enhancing diversity, and have the ability to promote cultural awareness and global understanding. Advanced HR certifications and experience as a member of a multi-functional leadership team are also preferred.
