Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct clinical services to students experiencing major mental health challenges and severe emotional disorders, including conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. \n
- Work collaboratively with school staff to create a supportive environment that facilitates educational success for students receiving mental health services. \n
- Engage in regular team meetings to discuss student progress, share insights, and strategize on intervention techniques. \n
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental well-being. \n
- Handle crisis interventions and emergencies, acting promptly to ensure student safety and wellbeing. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards. \n
- Participate in community outreach and educational workshops to raise awareness of mental health issues and available resources. \n
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments to facilitate the best outcomes for students. \n
- Provide on-call coverage as needed, ensuring accessible support for students and staff during critical times. \n
This position primarily serves a diverse student population in schools, many of whom belong to underrepresented communities facing socioeconomic challenges. Your work will contribute to breaking down barriers to mental health access and ensuring that students receive the needed support to thrive academically and socially. You will advocate for student needs, working closely with families and school personnel to set up systematic interventions that cater specifically to each individual’s unique situation.

- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work; an advanced clinical degree is highly advantageous. \n
- Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. \n
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly within school or community mental health settings. \n
- Proven ability to work effectively with a team and demonstrate collaboration to advance care and outcomes. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. \n
- Knowledgeable about cultural competency and proven ability to engage respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds. \n
Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment is preferred, alongside familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic models and interventions suited for this age group. Experience in risk assessment and crisis intervention strategies within educational settings would be highly beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
