Paralegal - Litigation

Our client is adding a Litigation Paralegal to support a fast-paced trial practice in Houston. The ideal candidate is proactive, deadline-focused, and confident managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage case files, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and litigation calendars.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, discovery, and trial support.
• Coordinate document collection, review, production, and electronic filing.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and vendors.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical files.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Strong knowledge of Texas civil litigation procedures and e-filing.
• Exceptional organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with legal research, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management/document platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.
