Staff Accountant-Onsite

The Staff Accountant will be a key player in our monthly financial close and analysis process. The Staff Accountant will work with the Accounting Team to ensure the financial close process is completed timely and all related reports, analysis and reconciliations are also prepared and approved. Additionally, this individual will assist with other duties and projects such as process enhancements, internal control monitoring and other duties or projects as required. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare bank reconciliations weekly. Ensure data is uploaded to the general ledger as appropriate on a daily basis. Prepare monthly account reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts as required. Assist with year-end including gathering information for the completion of the annual financial statement reviews, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and tax returns in a multi-state environment. Monitor 401K withholding and ER match is in compliance with deposit rules. Assure fixed assets are recorded in accordance with capitalization policy and depreciation is recorded monthly. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
