Working under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, you'll help ensure patients receive attentive, respectful, and safe care during their stay. Primary ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient CareAssist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care needsSupport mobility activities, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioningHelp patients with meals, hydration, and daily comfort measuresCreate a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and visitorsClinical SupportObtain and document vital signsMonitor and report observations to nursing staffRecord intake and output informationCollect specimens as directedAssist with cardiac monitoring and EKG-related tasksPerform delegated patient care activities within scope of trainingTeam CollaborationRespond promptly to patient needs and call lightsParticipate in shift communication and care team discussionsCommunicate patient concerns and changes in condition to nursing staffFoster positive working relationships with coworkers and providersDepartment SupportMaintain patient care supplies and equipmentAssist with unit organization and readinessParticipate in education, training, and staff meetingsSupport a culture of safety, quality, and service excellence  QualificationsRequiredActive CNA certificationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferredActive CNA certificationPrevious healthcare or patient care experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentPRN RequirementsTo remain active in PRN status, team members must work:At least five shifts per quarterOne weekend shift each quarterOne recognized holiday shift annuallyPhysical ExpectationsFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and liftingAbility to safely move or assist patients using proper techniques and equipmentCapability to respond quickly during emergency situationsAbility to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation BenefitsEligible after 30 days:401(k) with employer match Experience Life in GlendiveLocated in Eastern Montana, Glendive offers a welcoming community and abundant outdoor recreation.
