Phlebotomist

The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for testing. The role requires proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques. Attention to detail and accurate documentation of samples is essential. The phlebotomist will work evenings with a variable start time between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM. Collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure patient comfort and safety is a priority. Knowledge of electronic health records and familiarity with the charting system is beneficial. Adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines is mandatory. The position guarantees 40 hours of work per week. Additional duties may include patient education and assisting with laboratory operations.
