Hours : Part Time (Open availability preferred)

Current Shifts needed:

Monday 7am-3:30pm

Wednesday 7am-3:30pm

Schedule subject to change with reasonable notice as business needs evolve.

Compensation : $17.13/hour

Position Summary

The Dishwasher's main responsibility is to wash the dishes, pots and pans generated by our kitchen. Additional responsibilities include cleaning the hood filters and all closing cleaning duties including: moving mats, sweeping and mopping the floors and emptying garbage cans, sanitizing all surfaces in the dish station, shutting down and cleaning out the sanitizer machine. In addition, the Dishwasher may be asked to assist in food prep, food production and packaging. Dishwasher is a vital support position in our fast-paced kitchen. Dishwashers are expected to be productive while working independently.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to lift 50#

Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures, especially safety

Commercial kitchen dishwasher experience preferred

Ability to safely and properly assemble the commercial cheese/meat slicer, food processor and mixer

Must possess current Food Handlers Card

Ability to work as a cooperative team member

Ability to communicate clearly, follow directions, make positive suggestions, and be open to instruction

Ability to prioritize tasks


Must possess excellent organizational skills

Ability to work in wet and sometimes humid conditions
