Job Title Permanent Pathologists' Assistant Location Louisiana Benefits Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Relocation assistance provided Broad case volume and specimen diversity across two active sites Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Long Term Disability FSA HSA 401k Responsibilities Perform accurate gross dissection and detailed description of surgical specimens across the full case spectrum - from routine biopsies to complex cancer resections Specimen processing and submission for histologic processing and special studies Rotate between privately owned laboratory (primary grossing site) and hospital lab, ensuring broad, balanced clinical exposure Collaborate closely with pathologists and technical staff to maintain quality and workflow efficiency Contribute to lab workflow coordination and other duties as assigned Requirements Graduate of an NAACLS/ASCP-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program PA(ASCP) certification or eligibility to sit for the board exam Ability to work cooperatively within diverse clinical environments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build positive working relationships with pathologists and technical staff #J-18808-Ljbffr MRINetwork
