• Post Cardiac Angiogram

• Sheath Removal
• TR Band

Required Gastrointestinal Skills:

• Feeding tube care and management

Required Genitourinary/Renal Skills:

• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Renal failure

Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills:

• Accessing Ports
• Arterial line management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Phlebotomy
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs

Required Medication Skills:

• Heparin Protocols
• Manage Cardiac drips without titration
• Manage Vasoactive drips without titration
• PCA

Description: Position/Specialty: IMC/Stepdown/PCU RN. Shift: 3x12 Days (0645-1915). Ratios/Daily Caseload: 4 patients per nurse. Weekend requirement: Will work every other weekend. Floating: Clinicians will float as needed within scope. Unit takes patients of all diagnoses. Fast-paced unit with a high amount of patient throughput. Nurses typically manage a 1:4 patient ratio with a free charge. Charge may take up to 4 patients if needed, but does not happen often. Must be able to take tracheostomies with ventilators. Experience with Cerner preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred. Level I Trauma experience preferred.
